UDN2987A6T General Description

The UDN2987A-6-T is a high-voltage, high-current Darlington transistor array designed for interfacing between low-level logic circuitry and high-power loads. It contains six pairs of NPN Darlington transistors with common emitters. Each pair can handle a continuous current of up to 500mA and a peak current of 1A. The device is capable of controlling loads with voltages up to 50V.The UDN2987A-6-T features built-in clamp diodes for inductive loads and thermal shutdown protection to prevent overheating. It is compatible with TTL, DTL, PMOS, and CMOS logic levels, making it versatile for various circuit designs. The device is housed in a 16-pin SOIC package for easy installation and connection.
