HV5530PG-G General Description

The HV5530PG-G is a versatile low-voltage serial to high-voltage parallel converter designed for a wide range of applications. With its open drain outputs, this device is perfect for driving AC-electroluminescent displays and other high voltage current sinking applications. The device features a 32-bit shift register, 32 latches, and control logic for polarity select and blanking of the outputs. Data is shifted through the register on the clock transition and can be cascaded with other devices using the output buffer. The shift register operation is independent of the LE, BL, and POL inputs, ensuring smooth performance in various scenarios. Data transfer to the latch occurs when the latch enable input is activated. The high-voltage capabilities make the HV5530 ideal for driving inkjet printers, plasma panels, and large matrix displays with precision and efficiency
