ICE2B265 General Description

The ICE2B265 is a second-generation Integrated Power Factor Correction (PFC) controller IC designed for offline switch mode power supplies. It operates in Critical Conduction Mode (CRM) and ensures high power factor and low total harmonic distortion. This IC features a fixed frequency Pulse Width Modulation (PWM) controller with an error amplifier, line voltage compensation, soft start, and overvoltage protection. It also includes an adjustable output OCP (Over Current Protection) and brownout functionality for increased system reliability.The ICE2B265 is designed for use in appliances, industrial applications, and LED lighting. It offers a wide input voltage range, high efficiency, and compact size. The device is available in a DIP-8 package and is RoHS compliant.
