LX7167CLD-TR is a sophisticated step-down PWM Switching Regulator IC that is integrated with high side P-CH and low side NCH MOSFETs for improved performance. It operates using a hysteretic control topology with an impressive full load operating switching frequency of 3MHz, which allows for the use of small output filter components while maintaining exceptional dynamic load response. The IC's input voltage range of 3V to 5.5V suits a wide range of applications, making it a versatile choice for power management solutions. With a Power Save Mode (PSM) that automatically transitions between PWM and PSM mode based on the load current, this IC ensures that the converter's efficiency remains high even at lower load currents. Additionally, the Power Good function provides a convenient indication of the IC's status. In the shutdown mode, the IC's current consumption is reduced to less than 1µA and the output capacitor is discharged, contributing to energy savings and safety. Other features include cycle-by-cycle current limit with HICCUP mode, thermal protection, and internal digital soft start, ensuring reliable and efficient operation. Packaged in a compact 2mm x 2mm 8 pin exposed pad DFN package, the LX7167CLD-TR offers a space-saving solution for power management applications
