MAX1623EAP+ General Description

The MAX1623EAP+ is a precision, analog, current-mode, step-down controller integrated circuit. It features with an internal 140mΩ power MOSFET and is capable of providing up to 1A of output current. The device operates with a wide input voltage range from 4.5V to 28V, making it suitable for a variety of applications.The MAX1623EAP+ offers excellent line and load regulation, as well as a high efficiency of up to 95%. It includes overcurrent protection, thermal shutdown, and allows for adjustable frequency operation up to 1MHz. The device also has an adjustable soft-start feature to control the inrush current during start-up.This controller is housed in a small, 8-pin EP package and operates over a wide temperature range from -40°C to +85°C. It is ideal for use in space-constrained designs that require high efficiency and precision voltage regulation
