MAX1684EEE+ General Description

The MAX1684/MAX1685 are versatile switching regulators designed to meet the power needs of modern portable devices such as cellular phones and PDAs. With a high efficiency internal-switch PWM design, these regulators are ideal for applications requiring a guaranteed 1A output current from lithium-ion batteries. The wide input voltage range of 2.7V to 14V provides flexibility for design engineers, allowing for seamless integration with various power sources including wall cubes. Additionally, the regulators are capable of operating at higher voltages so that batteries can be charged efficiently even when the device is in use
