Designed with a fixed baud rate of 9600 for both the serial and IR interfaces, the MCP2140 ensures reliable and consistent communication. To meet IrDA standard requirements, a device frequency of 7.3728 MHz is necessary. During the Discover phase, the MCP2140 specifies the IR baud rate to the Primary Device, streamlining the connection process and ensuring seamless communication between devices
