The MIC2546-2YTS includes open-drain flag outputs that communicate critical information such as current-limiting or thermal shutdown events to a local controller, facilitating efficient fault detection. Additionally, the MIC2547 variant incorporates an internal latch function that automatically disables the output in the event of thermal shutdown, ensuring robust fault control. With compatibility with 3V and 5V logic, the enable signal also serves as a thermal shutdown latch reset for the MIC2547.
