The MIC38300HYHL-TR is a cutting-edge 3A peak, 2.2A continuous output current step down converter, representing a breakthrough in High Efficiency Low Dropout (HELDO®) regulators. This innovative device seamlessly combines the advantages of an LDO with the efficiency of a switching regulator, offering exceptional ease of use, rapid transient performance, high PSRR, and low noise. With output voltages trending lower, the challenge of minimizing output noise and enhancing transient response becomes increasingly crucial. The MIC38300 addresses this challenge by integrating a switcher with the input of a high-performance LDO, resulting in high efficiency coupled with a clean, low-noise output. With less than 5mV of peak-to-peak noise and over 70dB of PSRR at 1kHz, the MIC38300 ensures a reliable and stable output. Furthermore, its optimized architecture facilitates swift load transients, maintaining less than 30mV of output voltage deviation even during ultra-fast load steps. Ideally suited for low voltage ASICs and digital ICs, the MIC38300 operates with input voltages ranging from 3.0V to 5.5V and offers adjustable output voltages down to 1.0V, making it an indispensable choice for a wide range of applications
