Featuring a highly adaptable design, the MIC384-0YM is a digital thermal supervisor with the capability to measure temperature using its internal sensor, as well as external sensors or embedded silicon diodes. Its 2-wire serial interface allows for seamless communication with I2C or SMBus masters, providing convenience and flexibility in various applications. The open-drain interrupt output pin of the MIC384-0YM can be configured as an over-temperature alarm or a thermostatic control signal, adding to its versatility. With interrupt mask and status bits, the device ensures reduced software overhead, while fault queues prevent nuisance tripping due to thermal or electrical noise. Furthermore, the programmable address pin enables bus sharing between two devices, enhancing its adaptability. Compact, low power, and superior performance make the MIC384-0YM an excellent choice for multiple zone thermal management applications
