OPA2380AIDGKR General Description

The OPA380 family of transimpedance amplifiers is designed to meet the demands of high-speed photodiode applications, offering a combination of high precision, long-term stability, and low 1/f noise. With a 90MHz Gain Bandwidth (GBW), the OPA380 can achieve a transimpedance bandwidth of over 1MHz in most configurations, making it well-suited for fast control loops in optical fiber power level applications. Its offset voltage of 25µV, offset drift of 0.1µV/°C, and bias current of 50pA exceed the performance of conventional JFET op amps. Additionally, the OPA380's high precision and low-noise characteristics enable a dynamic range of 4 to 5 decades, allowing for the measurement of signal currents ranging from 1nA to 100µA in a single I/V conversion stage. This wide bandwidth is maintained throughout the full dynamic range, offering flexibility and accuracy in signal measurements. The OPA380 is available in single and dual versions, with package options including MSOP-8, SO-8, and miniature MSOP-8, and is specified for operation in a wide temperature range from -40°C to +125°C
