SM72442MT/NOPB General Description

The SM72442MP/NOPB is a high-performance programmable MPPT controller specially designed for controlling four PWM gate drive signals in a 4-switch buck-boost converter. It comes equipped with an advanced Panel Mode algorithm that allows for direct connection of the panel to the power optimizer circuit's output. When paired with the SM72295 (Photovoltaic Full Bridge Driver), it offers a highly efficient solution for MPPT configured DC-DC converters with efficiency ratings reaching up to 99.5%. This chip features an integrated 8-channel, 12-bit A/D converter for sensing input and output voltages, currents, and board configuration. It also offers programmable options for maximum output voltage and current, as well as different settings for slew rate, soft-start, and Panel Mode
