THS8083A General Description

The THS8083A is a high-speed voltage feedback amplifier designed for video applications, such as high-definition video and professional broadcast equipment. It offers a wide bandwidth of 500MHz and a fast slew rate of 1000V/μs, making it suitable for high-speed signal processing.The amplifier features a low distortion of -69dBc at 5MHz and a high input impedance of 10kΩ, ensuring accurate and reliable signal amplification. It also has a high output current of ±100mA, allowing it to drive capacitive loads with ease.The THS8083A operates on a supply voltage range of ±5V to ±15V and has a low quiescent current of only 6.5mA per channel. It is housed in a small, space-saving 24-pin TSSOP package, making it ideal for applications where board space is limited.Additionally, the THS8083A has a thermal shutdown feature to protect the amplifier from overheating, ensuring reliable operation in harsh environments.
