TLE5011 General Description

The TLE5011 is a sophisticated 360° angle sensor designed to precisely detect the orientation of a magnetic field using integrated Giant Magneto Resistance (iGMR) elements. By measuring sine and cosine angle components, the sensor provides accurate data on the magnetic field's alignment. Its bi-directional Synchronous Serial Communication (SSC) interface, which is compatible with the popular SPI protocol, facilitates seamless data communication. Additionally, the digital output of sine and cosine values allows for easy processing to calculate the angle orientation of the magnetic field using a COordinate Rotation DIgital Computer (CORDIC) algorithm. The TLE5011 also supports the connection of multiple devices to a single microcontroller interface, enabling redundancy or other system requirements. Synchronization of connected TLE5011 devices is achieved through a broadcast command, ensuring harmonized operation. Each TLE5011 can be individually addressed using a dedicated Chip Select (CS) pin, providing precise control within a multi-device setup
