TPD8S300RUKR General Description

The TPD8S300RUKR effectively prevents shorting of the 20-V VBUS pin to the CC and SBU pins, thereby protecting the entire system from high voltage conditions. Additionally, this product integrates IEC 61000-4-2 ESD protection for key external pins, eliminating the need for external high voltage TVS diodes on the connector. By incorporating high voltage FETs on the SBU and CC lines, the TPD8S300 ensures that any voltage above the OVP threshold triggers the opening of high voltage switches, effectively isolating the system from potential damage
