TPIC6B273DWG4 is a versatile and high-performance power logic octal D-type latch designed for use in applications requiring relatively high load power. With its built-in voltage clamp on the outputs, it provides protection against inductive transient events, ensuring the reliability of connected loads such as relays, solenoids, and other medium-current or high-voltage loads. It features eight positive-edge-triggered D-type flip-flops with a direct clear input and open-drain power DMOS-transistor output, allowing for efficient and flexible control. The asynchronous CLR\ allows for all eight DMOS-transistor outputs to be turned off as needed, ensuring safe operation. The low-side, open-drain DMOS transistor outputs have a rating of 50V and a 150-mA continuous sink-current capability, with a current limit of 500mA at TC = 25°C. The TPIC6B273DWG4 is characterized for operation over a wide operating case temperature range of -40°C to 125°C, making it suitable for use in various challenging environments
