UCC3895PWTR General Description

The UCC3895PWTR is a highly efficient phase-shift PWM controller designed for controlling a full-bridge power stage. By phase shifting the switching of one half-bridge relative to the other, this device enables constant frequency pulse-width modulation and resonant zero-voltage switching, resulting in improved efficiency at high frequencies. Whether used as a voltage-mode or current-mode controller, the UCC3895 boasts enhanced control logic, adaptive delay set, and shutdown capability compared to its predecessors in the UC3875/6/7/8 family and UC3879. Moreover, thanks to its BCDMOS process construction, this controller operates with significantly lower supply current than bipolar alternatives. With a maximum clock frequency of 1 MHz, the UCC3895PWTR offers advanced functionality in a compact and energy-efficient package
