ZL1505ALNFT General Description

Targeting the needs of synchronous step-down DC/DC conversion applications, the ZL1505ALNFT stands out as a highly integrated MOSFET driver with exceptional capabilities. By harnessing the power of Zilker Labs Digital-DC™ PWM controllers, this driver enables dynamically adaptive dead-time control, ensuring superior efficiency across various operational conditions. Its dual input PWM configuration adds another layer of efficiency optimization while keeping the driver's complexity in check. With an operational range of 4.5V to 7.5V, the ZL1505 combines a 5A, 0.5W low-side driver and a 3A, 0.8W high-side driver, catering to high step-down buck applications with ease. Notably, the adjustable gate drive current scheme empowers users to fine-tune the performance for a wide array of input/output voltages, load currents, power MOSFETs, and switching frequencies up to 1.4MHz. Further enhancing its functionality, the integrated 30V bootstrap Schottky diode simplifies the charging of the external bootstrap capacitor, while an internal watchdog circuit provides protection against excessive shoot-through currents and safeguards the external MOSFET switches. With a wide -40°C to +125°C junction temperature range, this product is well-equipped to handle the rigors of industrial applications.
