The 82V3396 Dual Synchronous Ethernet Line Card PLL is a versatile device designed to synchronize line cards in a variety of networking equipment, including Synchronous Ethernet and SONET/SDH systems, as well as wireless base stations. With two independent timing paths, this PLL can simultaneously synchronize transmit interfaces with the system backplane clock and provide recovered clocks from receive interfaces back to the system
