Notably, this driver includes a high frequency modulation input for laser pulse modulation, allowing for sub-nanosecond output pulses. The device interfaces with a system through a high-speed serial bus comprising SEN, SCLK, and SDIO for seamless communication. Safety measures are also prioritized, with a hardware enable signal (CE) that must align with an internal register bit for the device to operate.
