The MCP79410-I/SN is a low-power real-time clock/calendar (RTCC) with EEPROM. It has a built-in temperature sensor, power-fail timestamp, and alarm features. The device operates from 2.3V to 5.5V and has a battery backup input with a trickle charge capability to extend the battery life.
